Coming to Steam Early Access in 2025

Gameplay Video Coming Soon:

My main project I have dedicated much of my time in 2024, demonstrating my skills and experience in development that I have gained over the years as well as providing a key element to my dissertation in looking at building a development pipeline for an independant project, Blending the Genres of First-Person Shooter and Procedural Roguelike dressed in a 'true-to-inspiration' comic style,I have built the foundations of a project I aim to continue in future, which I have conceptulaised for over a year and a half before development.

Above I demonstrate my experimentation of the different methods of applying Basic Room random Generation in both 2D and 3D Environments, this was key research into some of the core systems I showcase in my Game where I advanced the systems to allow for more complex rooms and introduce other gameplay elements

For this project I have built everything from the ground up, creating my own assets and only using free assets as placeholder whilst I focus on maximising functionality first, however I am working on all elements and areas of the game, to provide a unique feel and atmosphere for the game, below are some gifs showcasing the different elements I have already touched upon.

Note: The previews above are from an earlier development build of the game (up to Sept '24), showcasing the different aspects of the game I have worked on, with new gameplay videos and showcases coming soon.

ChessBox (2022)

My final year group project for Undergrad, where me and my friends made a 3D Chess Game with many custom modes included in the experience.

Working in a group gained me valuable skills in communication and delegation, as Lead Developer of the programming side, I worked closely with the other members to formulate plans and work in a organised scheduled structure, which helped use our best skills together to create a fully functional Chess Game (With real chess moves such as Castling and En Passant implemented to proper represent the game of chess.

On top of working on the default chess functionality, We worked together to create Unique Chess Game-modes to further flesh out the verity of the game, Gamemodes such as:

- 4 Player Chess (Play in a + shaped Table, allowing for pieces to change up the strategy and fight multiple friends).

- A New Infection Mode that turns the game on its head! (one player starts with a full set of pieces [Defenders] whilst one player starts with a King and all Pawns [Infected], However over time the infected takes over pieces they take as long as there is space on the back line).

Blip & Blop(2013-2018)

My First Ever Project, and the Project that got me into Programming.

Originally Started when I was 13, It was my first foray into Game Development as well as programming as a whole and it became this little project that I would work on, on and off for a few years, when living in York but out of Uni in 2018 I decided to try revamp the project before starting Uni in Leeds, when doing my undergrad at Leeds, other projects took over focus whilst Blip and Blop would have taken too long to Revamp properly, although I may return to revamp it once again with my leagues better knowledge now it still stands as a point of where I was skill wise then.

I've always loved to create games and worlds that I can imagine me and my friends enjoying for years to come.
